New Years 2001 was one of the best experiences of my life. I forget the name of the venue, but I have never had so much fun in my life. My girlfried got me into this whole rave scene and I can't thank her enough for it. I'm a big candy raver myself now. I love to dance with multiple glowsticks, up in Toronto I had 8 at various points. Anyways, I love the free feeling that I get when I'm on E, which I was there. I like to share it with others too though. I love to give people glow shows, just the look on everyone's face afterward is priceless. Seriously I don't think most people would have a bigger smile on your face if you just handeed them a million dollars. A lot of times my girlfriend and I will team up too and she'll massage the person while I glow them up. The only problem that I have seen at raves is that many times you will see the same faces there, and the same people will always be rolling. As I see it, you are not a true raver unless you can go to a rave and have a great time, dance, etc.. without being under the influence of drugs every time. This is just what I think, you don't have to agree with me. Anyways in Toronto there's like a 1000 people at the Better Living Center and all the sudden the fire alarm is going off and the security people are stopping the musicand saying everyone has to leave the building and its like below 0 outside. The ights come on and the music stops. After about 10 minutes of trying to make people leave, the DJ just starts up the music again. It was so sweet, just seeing everyone jamming with all the lights on, ignoring the nonexistant problem. Then a few minutes later the lights go back off and everyone cheers and the party goes on till 8 in the morning. I've never danced so much in my life off just one pill as at this rave. I had only one green Euro and I danced from 11 right till 8 in the morning with only about a half hour break because I was sweating so bad. Need to keep hydrated ;) So thanks to all the fun happy people there, I had an amazing time. The backs of my figers were even bruised from holding glowsticks all night. To Mary : Thank you so much for getting me into the scene. I love you so much, you've showed me something that no one else ever could, and I am forever grateful. I love you all, Dennis |
