After an entire full year absence, it felt like coming out of retirement to get out and go to a party. The Old Ice House still felt cozy and welcoming, even though almost all the faces were new to me. But I also run into some old schoolers and it was nice to see them all.

There were a lot of costumes and eye kandy for everyone and people were all pleasant and casual. The vibe was OK and so was the music. I'm not sure if the scene will ever be like it used to be. But even if it stays the way it is now, it is still better than nothing.

The Ice House is always cool but I would love to photograph parties at different venues. So, if you have a party coming up and it's a cool location, drop me a line. I welcome another excuse to get off my ass and get out again.
