This was definitely one of the best (if not THE best) parties the Nile has hosted during the recent months. They did a bang up job decorating the venue and they had a great sound and light/video system also (although, the base sounded a bit too muffled and out of control at times). It did feel a little cooler than the last time in the main room but the basement was still unbearable. This isn't just a convenience issue. Overheating could pose serious health and liability risks. I hope they look into better ventilation for the basement soon. On the other hand, water and soda were only $1. Thanks guys for not ripping me off (unlike some other vendors) for my thirst:)

ALL the DJ's "ruled." Every single one of them. There was a great chemistry between the talent and the crowd. Despite the heat, almost everyone was up and dancing. Roxanne, Trixie and Con-fuscia spun some phat D&B and Jungle in the basement. I missed Evil Deeva's set (sorry Lizard). Daisy, Icon, DJ D and Sonique rocked the main room with anything from hard house to melodic trance and everything else in between.

This was a wonderful, colorful party both visually and musically. One of the best EVER. Thanks to all the talent and crew and all who showed up to celebrate. I had a blast:)

thanks everyone so much. i had such a great time, sober even! at first i was disapointed becuase i thought it might be elsewhere but once i walked in and saw all the super decs and felt the great vibe, it almost didnt feel like the nile. the dj's rocked and so many kids came out, loved it. now do it again in the desert!

THis was such an awesome party, especially for the Nile. Everything from getting daisies as we walked in to the decor was awesome. The vibe was definitely there and so was the dope music that just makes you wanna dance til you pass out, which I almost did especially in the basement. I really liked the recognition the female DJ's got and the Rave Safe group being there.Also, I love the fact that I could dance without tripping over people sittin in the middle of the dance floor. Even the security was nice. It was just an all-around dope party, but I still got charged 2$ for water, and there was a girl serving at the bar who was charging a dollar for people to use her pen. Anywayz, other than that, it was very kewl. *smile*

What's up, my name is dj Hidro-Ponik. Myself and Jonny Quest drove from San Diego to watch my roommate Con-Fuschia tear the shit up in the basement. The party itself was wicked. Incredible props and lights. The journey there wasn't. We were stopped at the Yuma checkpoint and 'detained' IN THE BACK OF A COP CAR FOR 3 HOURS because we burned something that we shouldn't have. (I swear that checkpoint wasn't there when I played at the Easter Moon 2000.) Anyway, they cited us and let us go, thank God. The journey was a true warrior's mission. We left San Diego with just a flyer. To our disappointment, all the lines said was "see you at the Nile". Not knowing where or what the Nile is, we called 411 and got the phone #. Mad prop's to whoever answered it @ 4 a.m., without you we wouldn't have made it in time to catch Con'Fuschia and Roxanne's sets. We wish we were there for the whole party, A+.
